Hone After Weld

Welding cylinder tubes often result in distortion of the
material and we offer a hone after-weld service, at no
extra cost, where our customers are supplied with honed
or unhoned material, and after machining and welding
the material, it is returned to Honingcraft for the final
honing process. This ensures the best possible
tolerances on welded cylinders.

Honed Barrels

Honingcraft manufactures complete hydraulic cylinder
barrels to OEM specification. Once you’ve stripped and
assessed the damage to a cylinder, determine which part
needs to be remanufactured and request a quote. You will
cut out the hassle and cost of running materials between
service providers and cut down on total delivery time.
This is a great option for our customers outside of
South Africa.

 

Cylinder Rods

Cylinder rods are hard-chromed to make them resistant to
the wear that would usually destroy the base material
during normal operation. The smooth surface protects the
rod wipers and seals, extending the effective life of the
cylinder component that is most exposed to the elements.
